  1. The 36 independent living skills resources is fantastic. The “Hey! What's cooking? A Kitchen Curriculum for the Parents of Visually Impaired Children” section was very informative. I worked in a group home environment for several years and a great deal of emphasis was placed on independent skills and meal preparation. This is a helpful tool for parents and others who work with individuals with visual impairments. I will pass this link along to some of my co-workers. Also, so many publications on a wide variety of topics can be ordered on this web site. Some can even be downloaded. This is great for parents and others.
